Umineko no Naku Koro ni = Mafia?

Friday, July 10, 2009

To me, it’s a party game, but in anime form.

After I finished watching episode 2 of Umineko no Naku Koro ni, the first thing that popped in my head was the party game Mafia. I’m not going to bother explaining the episode since there are so many blogs that summarize different types of anime so I’ll just go straight to my comparison.

A short but fun day – My Saturday at Zenkaikon

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Zetsubou-shita! Itoshiki-sensei hung himself again. Though, he seemed happy that I wanted his picture.

At first, Nii-chan and I weren’t planning on going to Zenkaikon because I was having my Homecoming that night. We finally decided to go because we wanted to see how Zenkaikon changed from last year. We were quite amazed when we walked through the door. Read the rest of this entry »

Cosplayers, cosplayers, and more cosplayers – My Saturday at NYAF

Sunday, September 28, 2008

Yay for people paid to dress up. These Bandai Entertainment cosplayers gave out items while posing for pictures every minute!

tsukagi-48.jpg-chan already posted what his view of Saturday was so I don’t need to say much. We got on the ferry, walked to the Jacob Javits Center, received our badges and went in. An Anime Bloggers’ Who’s Who and Other Things – My Saturday at NYAF

Saturday, September 27, 2008

Today, both sis and I were at NYAF for essentially our home con (since AnimeNext has really sucked it up in Secaucus). Once again we try our best to make the Saturday at least since going the entire weekend (and crossing the Hudson that many times) takes alot of energy for this 40hr-work-week anime fan. Here’s my report on NYAF 2008 Saturday: Read the rest of this entry »

“Manga kids” – They keep covering the shelves

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Well, this is a perfectly empty walkway toward manga books. That does not happen every day.

tsukagi-48.jpgSchool started for me again, Aniki is back in college, and Nii-chan is out at work. I haven’t been checking this blog over the summer due to my birthday. I’m quite amazed that the Kyonko post created by Nii-chan is still the first link set on Google when you ask for Kyonko. Anyway, I’ve explained enough of what’s been going on with this blog. I’ll finally start what I was going to talk about. Read the rest of this entry »
